Personal Information: Any personal information – names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses – you voluntarily provide UCP is retained in our parish records to enable quick and accurate processing of future correspondence. Every effort is made to ensure that this personal information remains confidential at all times. UCP does not disclose your personal information to any outside organizations or persons, unless compelled to do so by court order. No lists or databases of personal information are stored on UCP’s web site at http://www.ucpreston.org or on the server where the web site resides. No personal information is electronically or anonymously collected through the UCP web site. You can delete your personal information from our records at any time by contacting the church office at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 703-620-3065.
If individuals do not want their names, phone numbers and email addresses posted on the web site nor in emails sent through its email lists, this directive should be relayed to an office staff member, who will forward it to the webmaster and the email group administrators. Home addresses will not be posted on the web site or in emails sent through UCP’s email lists.
All photo submissions to the monthly newsletter or web site MUST be with consent of all individuals pictured (if under the age of 18, with parental consent). Names of individuals pictured will not be noted on UCP’s web site unless requested by submitter.
Contact Information voluntarily provided for use in Monthly Newsletters and the Sunday Bulletin Insert: Contact names, phone numbers and email addresses for events, campaigns, programs, etc. may be included in articles in the monthly newsletters and the Sunday bulletin insert if provided by the author of the article when submitted.
Contact Information voluntarily provided for use on UCP Web site and in Emails Sent Through UCP Email Lists: When appropriate, articles about events, campaigns, programs, etc. from the monthly newsletter and Sunday bulletins are posted on UCP’s web site and may also contain the contact names, phone numbers and email addresses if provided by the author for ease of viewer response. Likewise, contact names, phone numbers and email addresses for events, campaigns, programs, etc. may appear in emails sent through UCP’s email lists (see below) that are sent to only those individuals connected with UCP who have requested to receive these communications.
Contact Information in Parish Directory: All personal information in UCP’s Parish Directory is for the use of the United Christian Parish, is not for commercial use or distribution to any outside parties, and will not be published electronically.
Email Addresses and Email Lists: UCP has several email lists noted below, all of which have been compiled by individuals who voluntarily provide an email address and ask to be included on a list. When transmitting emails, all email addresses are posted in the “BCC” field so they are not viewable to recipients. No email lists or email addresses are disclosed to any outside organizations or persons and are used solely for the purpose for which they were provided. All emails include the option to unsubscribe from the list. Other lists may be developed as needs and opportunities arise.
