Our sisters and brothers in Haiti are suffering through the aftermath of the devastating earthquake early in 2010. Haiti is our International Mission Ministry through The Global Ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ.
Global Ministries recommends that all monetary gifts from individuals be made through local churches. UCP will forward all gifts to Global Ministries as designated funds to Haiti Relief. Please join us in praying for Haiti and giving as generously as you can to their healing and wholeness.
Kathy Kelley, Mary Jackson, Jim Vollmer and Pastor Joan were scheduled to travel to Haiti with a team from Global Missions supporters from around the country in February, to assist our Haitian partners in ministry in whatever way they need. However, because of the devastated conditions in Haiti, this trip was postponed.
