We will learn
             Prayer connects us with God.

God answers prayer in many different ways.
We can pray in many different ways.
We can pray in many different places.

Family Time Reflection

Read: the story from the flyer or from Matthew 6:7-15 and Matthew 26:36-43

Reflect: Even though Jesus was God’s Son, he prayed just like we do, for many of the same reasons.  What are some of your favorite ways to pray?  When Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane, he told God, “Do what you want, and not what I want.”  Why is it hard to pray that God will do what God wants, not what we want?

Pray: Loving God, come and be part of our lives each day.  Help us come closer to you and listen carefully for you as you answer our prayers.  Amen.
