Week 81 of construction ended March 16, 2012. This week all the new storage cabinets were installed and they look great and will be able to handle the storage for the bells and bell containers. The nine old cabinets that were not used were placed in the music room for their use. The main hallway was carpeted this week, giving it a nice look and making it quiet as you walk down from the elevator area. Eventually the end of the hall will be opened up to connect with the old structure when phase two starts next month. More tile work was done on the baptismal font, giving it an almost finished look. VCT was placed in the required areas. Beautiful wooden hand rails were installed on the steps. Concrete was poured for new walkways. More work was done in the plumbing area and electrical area preparing for the final approvals we hope will come next week for the occupancy permit. We have received one final approval so far, mechanical.
