Week 82 of construction ended March 23, 2012, with a mad rush to get everything ready for the final inspections that are needed for the occupancy permit. This week saw lots of concrete poured; for the five foot wide walkway on the south side on the hill and entrance walkway to the building; curb and gutter on the west side with walkway; along Northshore Rd. on the east to our property line; and walkway areas on the north side. Jack Bays also worked on the memorial garden area, clearing it and making a gravel pathway with a layer of gravel around the cross. The baptismal font was filled with water and checked for leaks; none were found and it flowed beautifully.  Low voltage work was completed including the installation of speakers. Work on the stainless steel handrails outside was done. Carpet was delivered in preparation to start in the sanctuary area next week. The ceiling lighting to illuminate the stage area was completed.
