Spiritual Development at UCP
Worship and education are vital parts of developing a closer relationship with God.
But we try to also provide opportunities for individuals and groups to have the time and place for deeper connections.
We have restarted our Practicing God's Presence group after a short hiatus. This provides an opportunity for participants to spend some time in a group setting with contemplative prayer practices that they can then use in their busy lives.
We also currently have two prime places on our campus for meditation and reflection:
• the Memorial Garden
• the Labyrinth
The United Methodist Church has provided a good resource for various spiritual practices as well.
Gratefulness.org has an "automated" labyrinth that could prove valuable on rainy days.
