Mission Statement

We believe God has called United Christian Parish (UCP) to be a people who:

• Model unity in Christ through our unique ecumenical fabric
• Embrace deep spirituality that propels us to reach out in love, pursue justice and care for all creation
• Share the Good News of God's love in word, prayer and service
• Widen our circle by welcoming all
• Reveal God's love, grace and forgiveness as we serve each other and the world

Vision Declarations

We believe God is calling UCP in the next 3-5 years to:

• Reach out intentionally and creatively to those outside UCP, especially those whose life journey does not intersect with a faith community
• Embody hospitality and enable newcomers to make lasting connections
• Develop enthusiastic faith and commitment among young people, helping them build a lifelong foundation of faith, which they will share with others
• Enliven worship, building on our rich tradition, while exploring new ways of experiencing God
• Be the place where people of all ages develop a deepened faith
