UCP offers a full schedule of Sunday activities that provide us opportunities to strengthen our spiritual connections. Our regular schedule consists of four worship services. Communion is offered weekly in two of the services. Also, Sunday School for all ages is scheduled in the middle of the morning, to enable everyone to attend!
Children are a key element of UCP and they are always welcome in worship. Books and worship bags with child-friendly activities are provided in the sanctuary. Additionally, nursery and child care are available during the 8:30a and 11:00a services, as described in the sections for those services.
8:30a -- Worship Service
Our first service of the day includes music from one or more of UCP's musical groups. Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month. Nursery (through age 23 months) and child care (2-3 years of age) are offered during the entire service. Children also may choose to participate in Godly Play, which is our childen's service (see Children in Worship for more information).9:50a -- Sunday School
Between the services, UCP bustles with Sunday School classes for all ages. Nursery is availabe for children aged 0-23 months.
11:00a -- Worship Service and Communion
Our second service of the day includes music from one or more of UCP's musical groups. Communion is offered every Sunday at this service. Nursery (0-23 months) and child care (2-3 year of age) are offered during the entire service. Children also may choose to participate in Godly Play.7:30p -- Lay Led Informal Worship Service
Near the end of each Sunday, for people who are seeking an informal service or haven't been able to attend a morning service, our final worship gathering each Sunday is conducted by lay leaders.
