One of the most exciting times at UCP in the summer is Vacation Bible School.
This summer (2012) the children were on board for Operation Overboard: Dare to Go Deep with God! Vacation Bible School and Vacation Bible Adventure will dive deep into God’s Word as they learn to Depend on God, Dare to care, Claim Jesus, Choose to follow, and Change the world. The children will experience Bible stories, engage in mission, play games, sing songs, explore science activities, eat snacks and hear daily from the Dive Chief (DC) and Ocho, the hiding octopus mascot during Assembly Time.

In the summer of 2011 children travelled back in time to Jesus' day to visit Hometown Nazareth - the village where Jesus grew up. They heard Jesus' mother, Mary, tell stories, learned skills from the crafts people in the marketplace, enjoyed songs, played games, ate snacks, and had fun with friends old and new.
