The United Christian Parish is growing and building!  Our vision for space is that it will enable us to do everything that we do, even bigger and better than before.

Current Status

Our building is nearly finished!  We are eagerly awaiting final inspections and the Occupany Permit. We hope to have our first service in the new Sanctuary on April 29. Please see Building Week by Week on this Web site about specific progress.

Background

At one point in our history, UCP operated in three locations – Hunters Woods, South Lakes, and our current location on North Shore Drive.  Beginning nearly a decade ago, UCP began transitioning to consolidate its worship, Christian Education and operations into one physical location.  After completing the sale of the other two buildings, we moved all activities into our current location in July 2008.  The combination of proceeds from the sale of two properties, combined with a highly successful capital campaign, has blessed us with sufficient funds to expand our building without taking on any debt!

Building Plans

Plans for expanding our space include adding a new sanctuary along with a new, two-story wing for classrooms and meeting space.  The current building will be re-furbished into a fellowship hall and office space.  See the current Building Plans for details.
